Samartex Ladies to Compete in 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup as FA Releases Full Calendar

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the full calendar for the 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup, with Samartex Ladies set to make their debut appearance in the prestigious knockout competition.

The tournament will kick off on the weekend of November 21, 2025 and conclude with the grand finale on May 4, 2026.

This season’s Round of 64 will begin with regional-based pairings, allowing Samartex Ladies to face opponents from the Western Region in the early stages. From the Round of 16 onward, the competition will move to a zonal format as the country’s top clubs battle for the trophy.

For Samartex Ladies, participation in the Women’s FA Cup adds another historic milestone in their journey, coming shortly after securing promotion to the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League. The knockout tournament offers the Timber Ladies a unique opportunity to test themselves against some of Ghana’s strongest women’s sides while chasing silverware in their maiden campaign.
