Dreams FC 2–0 FC Samartex 1996 – First Defeat of the Season

FC Samartex 1996 suffered their first defeat of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, losing 2–0 to Dreams FC in an away encounter on Matchday 8, played on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.

The hosts opened the scoring in the first half, taking advantage of a rare lapse in Samartex’s defense. Despite the Timber Giants’ efforts to find an equalizer, Dreams FC doubled their lead in the second half, sealing the result.

It was a challenging afternoon for Samartex, whose unbeaten run came to an end after seven games without defeat. Nonetheless, the team remains positive and determined to respond strongly in their next outing.

The Timber Giants will now turn their attention to Matchday 9, as preparations begin for the next challenge in the Ghana Premier League.
