FC Samartex Fall to Aduana Stars in Nsenkyire Cup 2025 Opener
FC Samartex 1996 began their Nsenkyire Cup 2025 campaign with a narrow 0-1 defeat to Aduana Stars in Group A action at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
The closely contested match was decided late on when Emmanuel Marfo struck in the 84th minute, handing Aduana the crucial three points. Despite creating opportunities, the Timber Giants were unable to find the back of the net and will now shift focus to their next assignment.
FC Samartex will face Holy Stars on Friday, 29th August 2025, in their second group game of the preseason tournament. With a place in the finals still within reach, Coach and players are determined to bounce back stronger and secure a positive result.
The Nsenkyire Cup 2025 features six top-flight clubs, with FC Samartex drawn in Group A alongside Aduana Stars and Holy Stars. Group B consists of Medeama SC, Nations FC, and Dreams FC.
