FC Samartex 1996 Set for Tough Start in 2025/26 Premier League Season

The Football Association has released the full fixture list for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, and FC Samartex 1996 will open their campaign with a tricky away trip to Vision FC.

The Timber Giants, who impressed last season with strong performances at home, will be eager to make a statement as they begin their quest for glory in the new campaign.

One of the standout early fixtures sees Samartex travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama SC on Match Day 6, before hosting them in the reverse fixture on Match Day 23. The highly anticipated Western Derby against Basake Holy Stars comes up on Match Day 14 (away) and Match Day 31 (home), setting the stage for two thrilling encounters.

The 2025/26 Premier League season officially kicks off on the weekend of September 12, 2025, and will conclude on May 23/24, 2026, ensuring all domestic competitions finish before the start of the FIFA World Cup.
